Clent Nurseries Garden Centre is a family run business which started out growing tomatoes and lettuce back in 1976 by Peter and Maureen Rampton. Almost 50 years later, it has grown to be one of the most popular Garden Centres in the area. Throughout its growth and progression, we haven't taken our eye off the ball from where we started from, growing most of our plants on site by our team. ​

There are approximately 7 acres of greenhouses in which we grow our well-loved plants 365 days a year. We have a hard-working, dedicated, and motivated team of staff, who are very friendly and are always willing to give a helping hand. Our Garden Centre not only sells our plants, but everything you could need to develop your own garden, from compost to furniture.

Located on 14 acres in Bromsgrove Road, the business has evolved over time from a small tomato nursery run by owner Peter Rampton to a site which grew plants for his landscaping business and now, more than 40 years on, to a garden centre with 37 full and part-time staff offering a wide range of home-grown plants plus specimen plants from Italy. Over the years we've built an impressive reputation for producing thousands of high-quality hanging baskets to suit all budgets and our garden furniture section with both rattan and cast aluminium items is one of the largest in the West Midlands.

The difference we think we have over other Garden Centres in the area is that we have stayed as a family business, now introducing the 3rd generation!  With easy access from M5 we have a captive audience from Wolverhampton, Worcester, and Birmingham, this being just a 30-minute drive, we think it's well worth a visit if you haven't tried us yet!

The customer experience has been enhanced in 2017 with a resized shop layout, and 2019 with our Coffee Shop extension, including an updated menu which includes Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free options, homemade cakes and event meals like Afternoon Tea and Christmas Events.

​​Our helpful staff are always on hand to offer advice about any of the plants we sell. We want to make every person’s visit as comfortable and welcoming as we can, that’s our goal. We get a lot of experienced gardeners coming in, refreshing their gardens, however we have a lot of first-time gardeners, and we understand it can be overwhelming sometimes, but that’s why we’re here to help
