Clent Nurseries Garden Centre is a family run business which started out growing tomatoes back in 1976 by Peter and Maureen Rampton. 40 years later, it has grown to be one of the most popular Garden Centres in the area. Throughout its growth and progression, we haven't taken our eye off the ball from where we started from, growing the majority of our plants on site by our team.

We're proud to be local growers of almost all our plants. There are approximately 7 acres of land and greenhouses in which we grow our well-loved plants 365 days a year. We have a hard-working, dedicated, and motivated team of staff, who are very friendly and are always willing to give a helping hand. Our Garden Centre not only sells our plants, but everything you could need to develop your own garden, from compost to furniture. Alongside our shop, we have our recently renovated Coffee Shop and Restaurant, so you can sit back and make the most of your visit.

The difference we have over Garden Centres in the area is that we have stayed as a family business, and we care about how things are presented, the atmosphere of the centre, the quality of staffing and above all, we pride ourselves on value for money. With easy access from M5 we have a captive audience from Wolverhampton, Worcester, and Birmingham, this being just a 30-minute drive, we think it's well worth a visit if you haven't tried us yet!

Clent Nurseries, a thriving family-run garden centre founded in 1976, has all the plants, equipment, furniture and, crucially, the in-depth knowledge you need to get the most out of your garden, whatever its size, shape state or soil type. The customer experience has been enhanced in 2017 with a resized shop layout, featuring a new bird care area which will inspire you to attract more of our feathered friends to your garden. If you've set your sights on creating a vivid show of colour for springtime, a wide selection of bulbs will stir your imagination. There are plenty of hardy shrubs to choose from too.

Located on 14 acres in Bromsgrove Road, the business has evolved over time from a small tomato nursery run by owner Peter Rampton to a site which grew plants for his landscaping business and now, more than 30 years on, to a garden centre with 37 full and part-time staff offering a wide range of home-grown plants plus specimen plants from Italy. Over the years we've built an impressive reputation for producing thousands of high-quality hanging baskets to suit all budgets and our garden furniture section with both rattan and cast aluminium items is one of the largest in the West Midlands.

Peter's son Phil Rampton said: "We've got many loyal customers who have supported us since the beginning and we're also increasingly popular with families who can enjoy a leisurely day out in the countryside and visit our coffee shop and restaurant. As we are so close to Clent Hills, we tend to get visits from families who have been on their country walks, running groups, cyclists, but also long-time friends and family who are having their weekly catchups. We are so grateful for everyone who visits us for every occasion, big and small!"

We get a lot of experienced gardeners coming in, refreshing their gardens, however we have a lot of first-time gardeners, and we understand it can be overwhelming sometimes, but that’s why we’re here to help." Clent nurseries is open from 9AM to 5PM from Monday to Saturday and from 10AM to 5PM on Sunday. The coffee shop, which offers a comprehensive menu including a choice of breakfasts, sandwiches and baguettes, main meals and specials, is open seven days a week from 9:30AM to 4PM, and serves hot food until 3PM.
